Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Equine Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equine Surgeon to join our team at Western Counties Equine Hospital. As a leading RCVS accredited equine hospital, we offer a unique opportunity for a veterinarian to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a strong focus on clinical excellence and teamwork.

Our hospital is equipped with advanced facilities, including a standing MRI, standing and general anaesthesia surgery suites, objective gait analysis, and an in-house laboratory. We have a progressive and friendly team committed to delivering the highest standards of clinical care and a strong teamwork ethic.

We receive a wide range of elective and emergency surgery cases referred from across the South West, as well as a significant lameness/poor performance caseload. This role would suit an experienced surgeon with a DipECVS/ACVS qualification, although surgeons who have completed a surgical residency and are competent in sole charge emergency surgery are also encouraged to apply.
