About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with a passion for environmental law and administration. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice on matters related to land rights and common land/town or village green service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to colleagues and external stakeholders on environmental law and land rights issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, documents, and presentations to support the delivery of our services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively exchange information with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Knowledge of environmental law and land rights issues, including Local Government Law.
