Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Reconciliation Specialist to join our European accounting team in France. As a key player in accounting transformation, you will be responsible for assisting in the successful financial reporting and control for the French entity under relevant accounting and regulatory bases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IFRS and French GAAP, as well as experience working with month-end accounting (Opérations Diverses) and resulting financial reporting. Fluency in English and French is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual statutory and regulatory reporting for France
  • Review VAT, Corporate Tax, and other local tax reconciliations and submissions
  • Produce information to be included within Board Reports and for Group reporting to the agreed timescales and requirements
  • Liaise with external auditors to provide required information and review of report and accounts, including delivery of draft trial balances and draft financial statements

Qualifications:

  • Accounting qualification (DSCG/DEC/ACCA/ATA/Bachelor Degree)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other financial software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
