About the Role

The NHS Counter Fraud Authority is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Counter Fraud Intelligence Specialist. This role will involve researching and developing allegations of economic crime, analysing complex information, and identifying the most appropriate course of action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply judgement to referrals received by the NHSCFA to determine the most appropriate manner in which they should be recorded, protectively marked, processed and disseminated.
  • Develop processes for capturing and accurately recording information, following set procedures, to create database records and apply the evaluation process.
  • Regularly interrogate systems, to detect and report upon anomalies, discrepancies, and irregularities of data.

Requirements

  • Experience of handling sensitive and confidential data in compliance with the law and best practice.
  • Experience of undertaking research projects.
  • Good IT skills including the ability to manage spreadsheets and/or databases effectively and use IT to gather and analyse complex information effectively.
