About the Safeguarding Adviser Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Adviser to join our team at Activate Learning. As a Safeguarding Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing front-line support, advice, and guidance to young people and adults who may be experiencing challenging situations.

Key responsibilities of the Safeguarding Adviser include:

  • Meeting with learners to assess their support needs and making referrals to internal and external agencies as necessary.
  • Providing advice and guidance to teaching teams and faculty staff on how to best meet the needs of students under the support of the safeguarding team.
  • Building and maintaining close working relationships with families of students under the support of the safeguarding team.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and regulations. You will also have the ability to provide comprehensive records to track the progress of safeguarding work and ensure that we meet statutory and legislative procedures.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification
  • Completed Advanced Safeguarding training in the last two years
