Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Lead to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering lifecycle management, with experience in delivering projects within budget and to quality standards.

The Project Engineering Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver world-class concept and system designs. You will work closely with the Project Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer, and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and deliver technical solutions. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of market-leading products, providing advanced capability and protection to UK platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Produce effective plans to deliver solutions, identifying risks and opportunities
- Ensure implementation of Lifecycle Management, including Design & Gate Reviews and Processes
- Provide engineering leadership to a multi-disciplinary IPT throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure the engineering team delivers the 'best value' solution compliant with customer requirements

Requirements:
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good schedule and budget control
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Strong leadership competency

Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Extensive experience in integrating systems and sub-systems together
- Experience of delivering as part of a prime organisation
