Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal to manage their diary, including identifying and arranging meetings and disseminating briefings and documents.

Key responsibilities include managing the Principal's communications and administration, such as proofreading correspondence, communicating with key stakeholders, and maintaining files and contact lists.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing meetings, being the Clerk to Governors, and providing HR support, including managing resignations, absence leave, risk assessments, and sickness records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent level of education
  • Training in the use of various ICT packages
  • Knowledge of personal assistant roles and responsibilities
  • At least two years' experience working in a school or other educational establishment
  • Experience of managing staff in relation to the PA role
  • Some experience of human resources, such as recruitment and/or monitoring attendance
  • Experience of working to targets and deadlines
  • Managing diaries at a high level, including communication with a range of audiences
  • Managing high-profile events
  • Developing policies, processes, and procedures
