About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Analog and Power Electronics Specialist to join our team at Eaton. As a highly skilled engineer with expertise in analog and power electronics design, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-tech electronic products from concept creation to industrialization.

With strong technical problem-solving skills and experience in DO-160 and DO-254 standards, you will drive cost-out initiatives, manage obsolescence risks, and develop Analog/Power electronics circuit design concepts. Your excellent organizational and communication skills will enable you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of high-tech electronic products from concept creation to industrialization
  • Support business activities with day-to-day sustaining type tasks
  • Act as a subject matter expert for electronic products within the portfolio
  • Drive cost-out initiatives by actively reviewing existing designs for opportunities of cost reduction

Requirements:

  • Analogue electronics and/or Power electronics design experience
  • Engineering degree or equivalent with strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Saber or similar analogue simulation tools
  • Strong project management skills with good prioritization and time management
  • Evidence of leadership skills and ability to develop junior engineers
