About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children and young adults with complex needs.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain a Special Educational Needs, Teaching Assistant Qualification and develop your understanding of Education and how to support children. You will also have access to over 200+ Modules, including Phonics, SEND, Classroom practice, and Supporting additional needs.

Our Early Career Teaching Assistant Programme is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a Teaching Assistant. You will receive on-the-job training in a school alongside a bespoke CPD programme, developed by ex-senior leaders and our CPD Partners, Creative Education.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children and young adults with a variety of needs, including Complex Needs and SEMH. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.

About You

We are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting the development of children and young adults. You will need to have a University degree in any subject from within the last 5 years and be personable, kind, and empathetic.

You will also need to be versatile, willing to learn and develop your skills, and confident with a strong sense of behaviour management. Some experience with children is desirable, but not essential.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £90-£115 per day and the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will also have access to over 300 courses to help you develop your skills in specialised areas.

We welcome graduates from all subjects to apply, but Psychology graduates are particularly encouraged to apply. We can match you to your ideal role based on your favourite modules, whether that be related to social work, mental health, counselling, or therapy.

As part of our Early Career Teaching Assistant Programme, you will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of Education and how to support children. You will also have access to over 200+ Modules, including Phonics, SEND, Classroom practice, and Supporting additional needs.
