Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons to promote student learning and achievement.
  • Lead small group sessions and one-on-one interventions to reinforce learning and support student progress.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure students reach their full potential.
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student welfare and well-being.
  • Support extracurricular activities and school events to promote student engagement and community involvement.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or similar role, with a proven track record of supporting student learning and achievement.
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent, with a strong understanding of teaching and learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students and the school community.
