We are seeking a highly skilled Liability Claims Handler to join our Casualty team at Davies. As a Liability Claims Handler, you will play a critical role in efficiently handling EL & PL claims for both personal injury and third-party property damage.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers to ensure seamless claim resolution.
- Investigate allocated claims, obtaining necessary evidence and documentation to determine appropriate actions for resolution.
- Prepare detailed reports providing advice on policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and tactics.
- Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Correspond with all parties professionally to progress cases to conclusion, maintaining a proper reserve through regular review.
- Stay up-to-date on technical changes relevant to the role, participating in training programs as needed.
- Experience handling EL (Employers Liability) & PL (Public Liability) claims.
- Experience handling personal injury and third-party property damage.
- Ideal experience handling product and Clinical Negligence claims.
