About the Role

As a Senior Engineering Leader at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering function and ensuring that all plant, equipment, and systems are maintained to optimal levels.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage the engineering workload effectively. They will also be responsible for championing industry best practices and promoting the introduction of new technologies.

A key aspect of this role is to ensure food safety legislation and guidelines, as well as company policies, are adhered to. This involves controlling and minimizing waste, playing an active part in continuous improvement projects, and developing and implementing preventative maintenance systems and inspections.

In addition, the successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring all machinery and plant is working to optimum speed, with minimal disruption to production. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety risk assessments for engineering activities.

This is a critical position within the company, requiring a driven and motivated individual with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be qualified with extensive practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, possessing excellent project management and planning skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000-£55,000 (DOE) + Holiday + Pension, along with Monday - Friday (Days) working hours and a location in East Yorkshire, easily commutable from Hull, York, Market Weighton, Selby, Goole, and Doncaster.
