About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Expert to join our Professional Services team in EMEA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers, ensuring the successful deployment and installation of Entrust products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in the deployment and installation of Entrust products, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Facilitate the resolution of customer deployment issues through effective use of Entrust Support and/or Auth & PKI Professional Services.
- Attend meetings to understand customer requirements and provide development and deployment options, as well as informal knowledge transfer for Entrust products.
- Identify software customization requirements for customer projects and provide architectural guidance on future business and technical needs.
- Ensure that customer needs are met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (computer science or telecommunications).
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills to communicate principles and directions to end-users, clients, and fellow development consultants.
- Ability to work independently, including working at home and alone on client sites.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Installation and configuration of common business applications (e.g. Web and App servers, Database, LDAP).
- Entrust products: IdentityGuard, Security Manager, TrustedX.
- Secure Web-based authentication and rights management solutions, either Entrust's or a competitor's product suite.
- Public key infrastructures (PKI) and digital certificate technology.
- Digital signature and eIDAS legislation.
- Authentication protocols (SAML 2.0, Oauth 2.0, Open ID Connect) and concepts (2FA, Federation).
- Smartcard and token-based solutions.
- Web technology development, especially Java-based.
- Directories (OpenLDAP, Active Directory).
- Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
- Strong technical background in Information Technology Security.
