Job Description:

Job Title: Senior Security Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Consultant to join our team at Fortinet. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration, as well as a strong background in network security products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a thorough understanding of customer engagements, including objectives, project scope, and business and technical requirements.
  2. Lead technical conversations to clarify and assess all aspects of an engagement.
  3. Play a driving role in scoping meetings and help develop statements of work with relevant work breakdown structures based on accurate analysis of customer requirements.
  4. Estimate work efforts.
  5. Perform project risk analysis based on technical elements and implement mitigation plans.
  6. Participate in design workshops with customers and/or partners and provide input as necessary.
  7. Develop and improve project-related documents with any required technical architecture diagrams.
  8. Perform deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions in the customer environment.
  9. Work closely with PMO teams to ensure successful completion of projects.

Requirements:

  1. 7+ years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.
  2. 6+ years of experience with network security products.
  3. Vendor experience is a plus.
  4. Experience working as a Professional Services consultant or engineer.
  5. Expertise in NGFW and at least 4 of the following technologies: Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Network Security Management, SIEM, Network Virtualization, Software Defined Networks (SDN), and/or other cloud-based technologies.
  6. Strong knowledge of 3rd party network or security solutions.
  7. Experience in designing and implementing solutions for SMB, Enterprises, and Telco/MSSP.
  8. Scripting or development skills.
  9. Very good presentation and technical documentation skills.
  10. Good troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem solving.
  11. Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  12. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, other departments, and executive teams.
  13. Ability to adapt seamlessly to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  14. Ability to multitask between several projects and customer engagements, and collaborate with peers on projects delivery.
  15. Flexible working hours.
  16. Positive customer service attitude with excellent soft skills.
  17. Ability to bring projects to successful completion through technical sensitivity.
  18. Strong commitment and self-driven individual.
  19. Extensive travel (up to 60%). Ability to travel at very short notice periods domestically and internationally as needed.
  20. NSE 1-7 or equivalent. Other industry certification in relation to security or networking.

Education:

Master Degree in technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience
