About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Child Family Support Specialist to join our team at Uniting Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to parents and families in need, helping them navigate specialized services and build their skills and confidence.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with vulnerable and complex families, providing individualized support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes.

You will bring with you a strong understanding of family and parenting issues, particularly in the context of child protective concerns, as well as experience working with children and families in need.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Diploma and/or Bachelor of Social Work or Psychology or relevant discipline or a willingness to study further and transferable experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the child and family welfare field, particularly with regard to support of vulnerable and complex families and at-risk children.

Our ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of family dynamics and the ability to communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation and generous leave entitlements.
