About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative at GoCardless, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying business opportunities with senior decision makers in the corporate sector across North America. You will work collaboratively with experienced Sales Account Executives to find new sales opportunities and help to grow our presence in this market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively outreach to businesses to find new sales opportunities for GoCardless
  • Introduce how GoCardless can make a real difference to businesses in North America
  • Passionately articulate GoCardless' value proposition in new industries
  • Nurture prospects through to a fully qualified lead
  • Think creatively about how best to engage new customers

Requirements

  • Experience in an outbound B2B sales role, with proficiency in using sales tools and CRM software
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience
  • Keen interest in FinTech and an understanding of the payments space
  • Ability to motivate yourself and teammates, with a focus on positivity and camaraderie
  • Alignment with GoCardless' core values (Be Humble, Care Deeply, Act with Integrity, Start with Why)
