About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Finance team at Ramboll Environ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing effective financial planning and analysis support to management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Controlling / Enhanced Business Advisory
    • Apply a proactive, forward-looking mindset to daily activities, identifying opportunities for value creation.
    • Attend management meetings and present financial results, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
    • Proactively flag risks and opportunities to management, ensuring timely follow-up and action.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Oversee Income Statement reporting, including analysis and commentary.
    • Perform root cause analysis, examining Staff Costs, Margins, Billing Ratio/Non Productive time.
    • Prepare management reporting commentary for relevant stakeholders, providing actionable insights.
    • Ad hoc financial reporting as required, including year-end audit.
    • Project analysis and reporting, including customer/project profitability, project mix vs. targets, and potential risks and opportunities.
  • Planning & Forecasting
    • Manage the budgeting/forecasting process, consulting with management and ensuring accuracy.
    • Ensure the budget and forecast are bought into by business leaders, driving alignment and commitment.
    • Take an active lead in identifying and implementing improvement initiatives, driving business growth and efficiency.
    About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with a strong academic background and relevant professional qualifications in finance. You will have a proven track record of commercial finance/business partnering experience within a consultancy, with a good understanding of project accounting/financial/management accounting principles.

  • Strong analytical and modelling skills, particularly using Excel.
  • Experience with Group ERP systems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to engage with relevant stakeholders at all levels of the business, remaining objective and preserving a strong sense of commercial awareness.
  • Able to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively.
