Job Overview

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Research Grant Coordinator to join our team. This exciting role will provide support to researchers in securing funding for impactful projects and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research funding systems, managing research projects, and clinical trial methodology and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure that all research proposals meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with The Children's Hospital Charity to coordinate research funding calls and contribute to impactful research that advances healthcare.
  • Oversee grant applications, awards, and projects to ensure seamless administration from initiation to completion.
Requirements
  • Significant previous experience of working in a research support environment or understanding of research funding systems.
  • Experience of peer review in grant/award management gained either from working in a grant management environment or being a grantee.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Research funding landscape and research finance knowledge including SoECAT creation.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent annual leave and pension schemes, health programs, and exclusive discounts.
