Support Worker Opportunity

You will be working in a unique community hub that provides a safe space for ex-offenders to access support and services. The hub offers a range of activities, including weekly doughnut and debate clubs, which provide a relaxed environment for support workers to engage with clients.

As a support worker, you will work with a caseload of clients to help them access housing and benefits, register with a GP and dentist, find training courses, and provide light-touch employment support. You will also support clients with general life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and wellness.

This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working within the criminal justice system or in a 1:1 support capacity. You will be part of a team that is passionate about rehabilitation and providing a supportive environment for ex-offenders to rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a caseload of clients to provide support and guidance
  • Help clients access housing and benefits
  • Support clients with general life skills
  • Provide light-touch employment support

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the criminal justice system or in a 1:1 support capacity
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of clients
