Job Title: Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the smooth operation of Defence operations on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be the initial point of contact for incoming telephone calls and service requests received by phone and email. You will elevate any complaints as required and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elevate any complaints as required and support continuous improvement
  • Interpret and log requests, inputting details into an in-house system, providing tracking and regular updates to the status of the request line with Service Level Agreement
  • Sort and dispatch calls to relevant departments
  • Monitor phone lines, handle incoming calls with varying queries
  • Resolve any issues accurately first time
  • Resolve stakeholder queries with professionalism and enthusiasm to represent our organisation effectively

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in this role or similar position is essential
  • Excellent telephone manner, ability to communicate effectively and maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Committed to following procedures and ensuring tasks are fully completed
  • Exceptional organisational skills with ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with flexible approach to meet business needs

About Us:

We support 250+ UK military establishments, high-profile police, secure environments and government sites, along with a range of onshore and offshore facilities including platforms, drilling rigs, floatels and offices for the energy sector.


Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
