Part-time Handy Person

Cora Partners is looking for a reliable and proactive Part-time Handy Person to assist with household maintenance tasks at our private residence near Oxford.
This is a flexible position with a variety of tasks both inside and outside the house. The ideal individual will be a skilled problem-solver with a broad range of skills and the ability to tackle different odd jobs as needed.
Responsibilities:- Perform general maintenance tasks both indoors and outdoors as assigned by the family, including but not limited to basic electrical and plumbing work, hanging paintings, and minor repairs
- Maintain household systems, such as cleaning gutters, fixing garage doors, and checking for general wear and tear
- Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of attention to detail and in a timely manner
- Communicate with the family to understand priorities and manage expectations
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role, with knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, and general home repairs
- Must have your own tools and equipment for general maintenance tasks
- Ability to tackle a wide range of tasks, including both simple fixes and more complex maintenance work
- Must be able to safely use tools and climb ladders for tasks like gutter cleaning
- A proactive, reliable, and friendly and flexible attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- A valid driving licence and have own car (as the location is rural)
- Able to work on a self-employed basis
One day per week (8 hours). We offer a competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
Location:Near Oxford, Oxfordshire.
