About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified pharmacy technician to lead our medicines management team in a prison setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of pharmacy technicians, providing clinical supervision and guidance, and developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medicines management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pharmacy technicians providing medicines management services to allocated prisons
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medicines management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification
  • Working towards Accredited Checking or MM Technician Certificate
  • Evidence of CPD Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
  • 2 years' experience of working in a pharmacy
  • Leadership and management experience
Salary and Benefits
