Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Service Technician to join our busy workshop at The Hireman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment.

In this role, you will work closely with our team of fitters and engineers to ensure that all machinery is clean, serviced, and running smoothly. This will involve performing routine cleaning and servicing tasks, as well as identifying and repairing faults on various types of equipment.

You will have broad knowledge or experience in electrical and mechanical equipment, and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, honesty, and integrity. Excellent communication skills are also essential for this role.

Benefits include a competitive salary starting from £27,000 per annum, a health cash plan, an enhanced contributory pension scheme, 28 days annual leave (rising to 33 days after five years), Monday to Friday working hours (7.30am – 5pm), company workwear and PPE, free equipment loans and staff discount, and regular social events and staff gifts.
