Operative Coordinator

About the Role:
This exciting role is based in TSR Recruitment Limited and involves coordinating the management of housing maintenance operatives. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Planner / Scheduler working on a Social Housing contract, excellent time management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage inbound & outbound calls on system ensuring all requests are recorded accurately and communicated to relevant teams. 2. Maintain accurate records of operative diaries, planning schedules and monitoring progress against agreed deadlines. 3. Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests with assigned trades, ensuring effective use of resources and efficient delivery of services. 4. Monitor trade skill sets and location parameters to ensure maximum efficiency. 5. Liaise with tenants, clients and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and compliance with contractual obligations. 6. Ensure worksheets are received and checked for accuracy and quality. 7. Collaborate with in-house engineers and tradesmen, council employees and external suppliers to plan appointments, materials and logistics. 8. Reorganise schedules as necessary to meet client demands and operational needs. 9. Organise external suppliers and subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery of services. 10. Oversee the completion of works against committed client completion dates, ensuring all trades are prepared and present on-site.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced demanding role, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, clients, councils, residents, suppliers and trades. A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills, this individual must be proactive in managing competing priorities and delivering results under pressure. Estimated salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
