At Green Recruitment Company, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of energy hubs. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-voltage electrical projects from renewable sources such as wind, solar PV, and biomass.
Purpose:The purpose of this role is to develop and implement low-carbon electricity generation and distribution projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing HV electrical distribution projects, preferably in the utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement low-carbon electricity generation and distribution projects.
- Design and develop solar, wind, and BESS assets to decarbonize operations.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Projects Director to develop and implement project scope and Capex estimates.
- Support compliance and planning functions in obtaining permits and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and obtain detailed tenders from suppliers and prepare bid analyses.
- Implement, commission, and validate LCE projects to achieve commercial outcomes.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing HV electrical distribution projects.
- Experience in delivering high-value capital projects in the utilities sector.
- Commercial awareness to optimize resource use within the team.
