At PRP Architects LLP, we are expanding our service offer to cater to large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, as well as our later living, care, workspace, and film studio portfolio. This includes new build, retrofit, and adaptive reuse projects of HRB's and non-HRB's.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Building Regulations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and monitoring Building Regulations compliance.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience leading and/or managing design development, including Building Regulations compliance, as a technical architect, architectural technologist, design manager, or plans checker. Alternatively, candidates with experience delivering Principal Designer services under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 may also be considered.

You will need to possess a meticulous approach to managing and maintaining accurate digital records, as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, coordinate, and monitor Building Regulations compliance across various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate digital records, ensuring timely access to critical information.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams through effective communication.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in design development, Building Regulations compliance, or similar roles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Building Regulations and relevant industry standards.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
