Join The Richmond Fellowship Scotland as a Community Support Specialist in Angus, where you can make a positive impact on individuals' lives. This full-time role requires 39 hours of work per week, and you will be part of a team that provides essential support to those who need it most.

No prior experience is necessary, as you will receive comprehensive training by our award-winning learning & development team. This includes classroom-based sessions, e-learning, and the opportunity to shadow current staff members.

To succeed in this role, you must have a valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle due to the location of services. Be prepared for varying shifts, including early, back, late, and sleepover duties.

Your key responsibilities as a Community Support Specialist could include:

  • Assisting individuals to engage with their communities through social outings.
  • Providing medical support by administering and monitoring medication.
  • Promoting personal care and wellbeing by assisting with bathing, dressing, and arranging visits with healthcare professionals.
  • Offering practical support with daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.
