This esteemed company, a leading restaurant operator with a portfolio of nine brands and over 100 sites across the UK, is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 125+ properties, ensuring they meet legal requirements and environmental, health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for maximising profits and streamlining property operations.
  • Coordinate estate management of properties to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Support the finance team on rental, service charge, rates, and insurance invoices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive databases of leases, contracts, and rental agreements.
  • Liaise with local government agencies to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Manage property-related queries from restaurant managers and provide suitable escalation.
  • Check legal compliance is covered for all sites and certified.
  • Support the Commercial Director in procurement of equipment and maintenance partners.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a property management role or similar Estates Manager role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Property Management or related field.
  • Experience managing multiple properties simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of property laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial management.
  • Commercial acumen – Understanding company finances, resourcing, and ultimate aims.
