Mobile Service Engineer – Building Services Specialist

About the Role
This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team, providing electrical and mechanical mobile services to our customers across a broad spectrum of building services equipment.
- Manage and undertake all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines and reactive attendances, ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all Concept task instructions and records are completed and returned to the Call Centre, and site log book records are updated and maintained in accordance with standard company practices.
- Provide electrical and mechanical mobile services, including reactive and maintenance tasks, to ensure our customers receive a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving electronically PPM instructions from the Concept system and undertaking all maintenance tasks in accordance with these instructions.
- Ensuring all maintenance consumables are available and arranging replenishment of all items to establish agreed stock levels.
- Completing all electronic and paper records, ensuring an accurate site log book record of all works remains on site for the client's information and approval.
- Undertaking diagnostic analysis and visual condition inspections of installed equipment, submitting written reports of any items that appear to jeopardise reliability.
- Entering into dialogue with the client's representative to ensure no outstanding issues and to ensure the overall quality of service delivery.
- Carrying out general maintenance and good housekeeping practices, including plant room cleaning, to maximise the life expectancy of installed equipment.
- Participating in health and safety codes of safe working and other environmental issues, ensuring total compliance with Dalkia's health, safety, and environmental policy.
- Reporting any omissions or risks that might compromise a safe working environment.
- Attending to all reasonable emergency call-out requests as speedily as possible and maintaining good communications with the client regarding the progress of all outstanding works.
- Making recommendations to the area supervisor on matters concerning continuous improvement and 'adding value' that may improve the productivity, costs, quality of service delivery, etc. of all work for which the company has a responsibility.
- Completing all Dalkia maintenance tasks as generated by Dalkia Helpdesk.
- Completing breakdowns as and when necessary.
- Ensuring plant areas for which Dalkia is responsible are always clean and tidy.
- Responding to client requests promptly.
- Maintaining all site records and logbooks.
- Looking for ways to continually enhance the operation of the site.
