The Role

We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join our talented team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in the production of detailed working drawings, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations, and managing the coordination during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD for construction and project delivery.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, specifications, and construction packages under the supervision of senior architects.
  • Ensure all projects comply with UK Building Regulations and maintain the highest standards of construction quality.
  • Participate in site inspections, client meetings, and on-site coordination with contractors, monitoring project progress and ensuring quality control.
  • Provide support in the preparation of technical designs and construction detailing during RIBA Stages 4-7.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree Level in an RIBA/CIAT accredited course or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience working on a variety of project types, particularly during the construction phase.
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential), AutoCAD, and other construction-related software.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and modern construction methodologies.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to produce detailed technical drawings for construction purposes.
  • On-site experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills when working with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills to ensure the timely delivery of tasks and accurate project reporting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands and work under pressure.
