Business Development Manager
We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the European logistics and transport industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your existing network and make a significant impact in a fast-paced sector.
Your customers will be based across the UK and internationally, requiring flexibility to travel and occasionally work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Showcase negotiation expertise to secure lucrative deals and drive new business acquisition.
- Monitor market trends, developments, and competitors to inform decision-making and seize opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional support and service.
- Follow up on leads and opportunities to convert them into successful ventures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Enhance industry knowledge and network by attending key events and conferences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in driving sales and business development success in a B2B services/solutions environment.
- Experience in selling Logistics solutions is essential, ideally on an international scale.
- A demonstrable record of accomplishment in generating new business services solutions and sales quota achievement.
- CRM proficiency, ideally in Microsoft Dynamics, and ability to manage a personal sales pipeline.
- Ability to identify, manage, and convert self-generated lead pipeline.
- Ability to travel to meet customers as needed.
