About the role:

Join our team as a Graduate SEND Specialist in Barnet, working directly with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a class-based setting.

As a specialist, you will provide individualised support to students, develop and implement strategies to meet their needs, and communicate regularly with parents and staff.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEND to achieve their Individualised Education Plan (IEP) targets
  • Providing pastoral care and support to students
  • Communicating effectively with staff and parents
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with students, staff, and parents

Salary and benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate of £106.00, inclusive of holiday pay
  • Full training and ongoing professional development
  • Initial short-term contract lasting until July 2025, with the opportunity to extend or become permanent
