About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at SE Trains Ltd. As a key member of our Commercial Department, you will be responsible for creating and managing rail products to ensure they work correctly at each stage of their use.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a long-term fares and product strategy to optimize revenue.
  • Model revenue effects of Fares Setting Rounds (FSR) and make recommendations to optimize revenue.
  • Communicate fares compliance to the Department for Transport and be the first point of contact for pricing matters.
  • Ensure ticketing issuing systems deliver required outputs and customer-facing staff are provided with information to maximize revenue and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support customer service and retail support teams with after-sale enquiries and provide commercial advice on passenger revenue and ticketing matters.
  • Manage the fares availability and bookings calendar in NRS to achieve optimum yields and analyze multiple data sets.
  • Represent the Company at industry bodies and work with the Marketing team to develop the product range offered by the Company.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of fares and ticketing, with a focus on the Rail Industry.
  • Ability to think strategically and have an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Project management skills and good knowledge of Ticket Issuing Systems.
  • High level of numeracy and expert Excel skills.
  • Ability to work at all levels within Southeastern and across suppliers.
  • Knowledge of the significance of contractual arrangements with DfT.
  • Experienced communicator with well-developed influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication, literacy, and interpersonal skills.
