We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our residential care facility. As a Grade 3 Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure our residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care and support to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting.

• Assisting with medication administration and ensuring proper documentation.

• Supporting residents with their daily activities, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and recreational activities.

• Monitoring residents' health and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

• Building positive relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and met.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.

• Following all health and safety protocols and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

• Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
