Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Package Manager to join our team at Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health systems across our assets on the S1/S2 Hs2 London Tunnels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Manage a site team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and 3rd parties, ensuring implementation of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Design and Construction: Develop design, construction methodology, program, and cost, preparing for delivery of works, including resources, procurement, consents, and pre-start documentation.
  • Team Supervision: Manage, supervise, train, and mentor the site team to optimize their work contribution.
  • Contract Management: Review contractual agreements, develop site-specific programs, and forecast budgets, assessing actual program and productivity achieved and reporting changes to the Project Manager and QS department.
  • Communication: Communicate non-conformances and instructions received from the client, designer, RE's staff, and maintain a full and accurate daily site diary.
Requirements
  • Experience: Similar level role with experience in delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health systems.
  • Qualifications: Professional qualification or degree in Electrical/Fire/Telecommunications Engineering or related subject.
  • Skills: Knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing, and best practice, NEC construction contracts, and computer competence (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Document Control Systems, Auto CAD).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication skills, ability to adjust communication style, and relevant CSCS Card and SMSTS/SSSTS.
