Hours: Full time: 39.75 per week (Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:30; Friday 7:30-1.15pm)

Contract: Temp to perm

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Machinist / Sewing Operator to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality products by sewing various materials together, including vinyl to cover chairs and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sewing various materials together, including vinyl to cover chairs and accessories
  • Follow drawings to assist with the product specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure timely completion of orders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues that may arise
  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Sewing machinist experience preferred, though if you have a talent for sewing, please apply as training will be provided
  • Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing setting is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
