Pizza Chef Assistant - Franco Manca

At Franco Manca, we are seeking a skilled Pizza Chef Assistant to join our pizzeria teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our Head Pizza Chefs in maintaining high health & safety and hygiene standards.

We offer a competitive pay rate, guaranteed payments every 2 weeks, and a Tronc Scheme. Our Second Chefs also enjoy flexible hours and shifts, 28 paid holidays, and paid overtime.

As a Pizza Chef Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced pizza makers and learn the art of Neapolitan sourdough pizza making. You will also be part of our Franco Academy, where you can develop your skills and progress to become a Head Pizza Chef.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about pizza making, have experience working with pizza ovens, and can lead a team in the absence of the Head Pizza Chef. If you have a hands-on attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Head Pizza Chefs in maintaining high health & safety and hygiene standards
  • Work with a team of experienced pizza makers to produce high-quality pizzas
  • Develop skills and progress to become a Head Pizza Chef through our Franco Academy
  • Lead a team in the absence of the Head Pizza Chef
