As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise children in the setting
- Support colleagues and work as part of a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children
- Complete and keep up to date key children developmental records
- Complete and keep up to date daily online care diary on Tapestry
- Work as part of a team to ensure that Ofsted standards are followed at all times
- Assist in the continuous improvement in childcare practices
- Attend ongoing training (in-house and courses) to support CPD
- Previous experience of working in a nursery setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS
- Minimum relevant Level 3 qualification
- IT proficient for writing reports/updating online journals
- In-depth understanding of children's development and their emotional, physical and intellectual needs
- Physical fitness to lift and handle children and equipment
