We are a professional referral service at Dr Stuart Psychologists, working with individuals across the spectrum of psychological difficulties. If you are a chartered psychologist with a Clinical or Counselling psychology doctorate in the UK, and you are looking for a steady stream of referrals, please get in touch. You will need to be registered with Bupa and other UK-based health insurance companies.
Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with a variety of presenting problems, using a warm, approachable, and professional approach.
- Have a grounding in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and work alongside other therapeutic modalities.
- Treat anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, and health anxiety with recognised evidence-based treatment programs.
**Qualifications and Accreditations:**
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
- British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accreditation or a specific post-doctoral CBT training.
- Recognition by all UK private health providers.
- Recognition as a psychologist practitioner by Bupa, requiring a minimum of 5 years post-doctorate experience.
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a practitioner psychologist.
**Employment Type:**
Self-employed, working with Dr Stuart Psychologists.
