About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our nuclear and clean energy teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' energy systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex stress analyses and structural integrity assessments for a variety of energy-related projects.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver right-first-time solutions for the most challenging problems in the energy industry.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems, leveraging your expertise in finite element analysis and stress analysis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project delivery and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Engage with clients to understand their issues, goals, and processes, and provide expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification) with a strong background in stress analysis and finite element analysis.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex stress analyses and structural integrity assessments, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and internal teams at all levels.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to work effectively in a collaborative and supportive office/site environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
