Your Role as Employment Adviser
You will help change people's lives by supporting them into sustainable employment, delivering high-quality personalised support to people who are long-term unemployed and participating in the Department for Work and Pensions' Restart Scheme.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (including quality and compliance levels) are met.
- Addressing customers' personal barriers to employment and supporting them through a structured pathway of activities.
- Identifying, structuring, and recommending wellbeing and training solutions, working in close consultation with your team to meet the specific needs of participants and employers.
- Maintaining customer records with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy, experience of working with Microsoft 365 is a requirement, and CRM solutions will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to build rapport, understand, and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with complex needs which may include substance misuse and/or mental health related challenges.
- Confident in coaching, motivating, and questioning customers to get a thorough understanding of their needs, while being an excellent listener.
- A high level of emotional intelligence.
- Skillful at CV writing, highlighting customers' key experiences and strengths.
