Main Responsibilities
  1. Motivate and Manage Staff: Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
  2. Optimise Efficiency and Financial Performance: Analyse and improve business processes, ensuring financial stability and growth while maintaining high-quality patient care.
  3. Collaborate with PCN Group: Work closely with our PCN Group to achieve shared goals, driving innovation and excellence in primary care.

Person Specification
  • Educated to degree level in healthcare or business
  • Leadership and/or Management Qualification
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and personal skills
  • Business Management or equivalent, Masters preferred
  • Prior knowledge of healthcare finance, although training can be provided
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Use of Systmone and Pharmoutcomes would be advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in working with the general public and/or healthcare setting
  • Experience in managing accounting procedures
  • Experience/Knowledge of budget and cash flow
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in performance management including annual reviews, staff development, and disciplinary procedures
  • Experience in successfully developing and implementing projects
  • Experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and development
  • Experience/knowledge of chairing meetings including producing agendas and minutes accurately
  • Prior experience of working in primary care or GP practice
  • Relevant health and safety experience
  • HR experience
