Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Test Analyst to join our team at Amber Labs. As a Technical Test Analyst, you will be responsible for writing, debugging, and refactoring test code to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

About the Role:

As a key member of our software development team, you will work closely with our software developers to ensure that our code base is thoroughly tested and meets the required standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and executing test cases to validate software functionality
  • Debugging and refactoring test code to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborating with developers to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Developing and maintaining test environments and test data
  • Coordinating and executing UAT testing
  • Identifying and reporting defects and issues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Windows re-platforming, M365, and Wins10->Wins11 migration
  • Strong technical testing skills, including writing test scenarios and executing tests
  • Experience in coordinating UAT testing and identifying defects
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence

Desirable Skills:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A proven track record in defining and implementing test tooling, test environments, and test data
  • Good understanding of test types and concepts
  • Experience in writing automated testing programs/scripts
  • Experience in load testing tools and REST web services
  • Awareness of packet analyzers and bug tracking software
  • Ability to identify issues and risks associated with work
  • Exposure to Agile principles and non-functional test cases
  • A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
