English Literature and Language Graduate Wanted

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic English Literature and Language Graduate to join our team as a teaching assistant in a thriving secondary school in Greenwich, Southeast London.

About the Role:

  1. Position: English Literature and Language Teaching Assistant
  2. Location: Greenwich
  3. Contract type: Long-term, full-time, temporary contract
  4. Pay: £95.00 – £105.00 per day (holiday pay included)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the delivery of English Literature and Language lessons, providing support to teachers and students
  2. Engage with students to inspire a love for English Literature and Language and encourage academic success
  3. Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community
  4. Work collaboratively with staff to enhance the learning experience for all students

Essential Requirements:

  1. A minimum of a 2:1 degree in English Literature and Language or a related field
  2. Passionate about working with young people and supporting their educational journey
  3. Commitment to a career in education and a desire to pursue teacher training in the future
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
