Aircraft Loadmaster Position

Based in Yellowknife, NT, we have been serving the region for over 35 years, with a strong presence in essential scheduled services, commercial industries, tourism, government, and community support services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Safely loading and unloading cargo onto our Combi Dash 7 aircraft.
2. Communicating with crew members regarding cargo loads, stowage plans, or operational issues related to aircraft cargo.
3. Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and Canadian Aviation Regulations.
4. Completing Air Tindi's in-house Flight Attendant Training program.
5. Prior experience as a Loadmaster/Flight Attendant is considered an asset.
6. Demonstrating advanced written and spoken English skills.
7. Being proficient in French or other languages is considered an asset.
8. Obtaining and maintaining an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (requires a 5-year traceable history, a clear criminal record, and Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Card).
9. Working irregular hours (mornings, evenings, weekends, and stat holidays) due to a flexible work schedule.
10. Traveling away from home for extended periods.
11. Relocating to Yellowknife, NT: Willingness to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package is required.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
