Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Technician

The Aviation Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of aircraft ground support equipment. This position requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing and fixing complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Compensation Package:

$35.00 per hour (based on industry standards)

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and troubleshoot ground support equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment components.
  • Complete electronic work orders for tasks executed.
  • Maintain all company equipment in good working condition.
  • Schedule periodic inspections according to manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Analyze manufacturer literature for problem-solving purposes.
  • Effective communication with colleagues and management regarding equipment status and potential enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Owning/maintaining essential personal tools, toolboxes, and testing equipment.
  • Valid state driver's license and FAA/Airport ID/seals/authorizations.
  • Minimum two to five years of relevant experience/training.
  • Professional and detailed thinking abilities.
  • Airport GSE knowledge is beneficial.
  • Air Brake adjustment certification is mandatory.
  • Capacity to handle heavy weights and perform physical tasks safely.
