About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our busy Distribution and Dispensary departments within the NHS.

This exciting opportunity combines working in two fast-paced environments, providing efficient stock medicine management and timely dispensing of prescriptions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and demonstrate a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock medicines on allocated wards, clinics, and areas, ensuring optimal levels and minimal waste.
  • Visit allocated areas to manage stock medicines, using electronic devices or paper, and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with senior staff over stock issues and participate in regular checks of ward and fridge temperatures.
  • Dispense medicines for patients whose prescriptions have been validated by a Pharmacist and accurately collect relevant prescription charges.
