About the Role:

  • Assess client needs through writing and updating support plans, signposting access to education, training, and employment opportunities.
  • Manage client finances and welfare benefits, ensuring timely payments and compliance with regulations.
  • Promote social inclusion by encouraging clients to participate in activities that build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.
  • Work with agencies to advocate on behalf of clients, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are respected.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement safe working practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supported living environment or a similar setting, preferably working with vulnerable adults or children.
  • Solid understanding of housing management principles, including voids and arrears management.
  • Familiarity with occupancy agreements and leasehold laws.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and think critically in challenging situations.
  • Able to work independently, sourcing innovative solutions to problems and taking initiative when needed.
  • NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualifications; willing to work towards further certifications.
