At A1 Jobs Ltd, we are seeking a skilled HGV Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Job DescriptionAs an HGV Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking inspections, services, and repairs of our fleet of HGV vehicles and other company vehicles;
- Following planned work schedules and utilizing strong communication and teamwork skills with the transport administration function to ensure that the requirements of the company 'O Licence' are met;
- Carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs of various pieces of plant and machinery as required;
- Working independently on routine servicing and site breakdowns to ensure efficient workflow;
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults within the fleet when they arise;
- Complying with company health and safety policies and guidance documentation;
- Assisting with MOT preparation and inspections when needed;
In order to excel in this role, you will need:
- To hold a qualified HGV Mechanic certification;
- To possess previous experience in a workshop environment;
- To hold a full UK driving license;
Bonus points if you also hold an HGV license or have working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, vehicle inspection standards, and scheduled maintenance requirements.
