**Job Summary:**

TLP is seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician to join their team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have completed an HGV Technician apprenticeship and possess a full UK driving license.

This role involves conducting thorough vehicle inspections, completing required works, and ensuring pre-planned maintenance is undertaken in a timely manner.

The HGV Technician will also be responsible for undertaking MOT inspections, promoting safe working practices, and maintaining a recording monitoring system to comply with legal and company requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any works that need undertaking.
  • Complete all required works identified in the initial inspection.
  • Ensure all pre-planned maintenance is undertaken in a timely manner.
  • Undertake MOT inspections along with preparations.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure that site Health & Safety standards comply with Company Policy.

**Benefits:**

  • A basic rate of £19.22 per hour, with overtime and annual bonus, you can expect to earn in excess of £60,000 per year.
  • Rotating Early / Day Shift: 07:00 - 16:00 on the Early Shift, 10:00 - 19:00 on the later shift.
